Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

We collect account data (name, email, phone), profile information, business/ledger records you enter, and billing metadata required to run the service.

2. Why We Use Data

We use data to provide bookkeeping features, secure user accounts, generate reports, and support subscription billing and customer support.

3. Sponsored Content and Ads

EasyKhata may show sponsored content or advertisements inside the app, including dashboard placements. We may use limited account and usage context, such as organization type, subscription plan, city/state/country, and whether a user has apartment owner, resident, or shared-view access, to decide which sponsored content is relevant.

We may record ad impressions and clicks to measure campaign performance. We do not provide advertisers with your ledger records, transaction details, customer lists, invoices, phone number, or individual account data. Advertisers may receive aggregated performance reports such as total views, clicks, target category, and broad location performance.

If you click an ad, you may be taken to the advertiser's website, phone, WhatsApp, or another external destination. Those third-party services are governed by their own privacy practices.

4. Payment Data

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store payment references and status information, but we do not store your card PIN, UPI PIN, or full payment credentials.

5. Data Storage

Your application data is stored using our backend database and Firebase services where required for authentication, app logs, events, storage, and operational features. Access is controlled by authentication, backend authorization, and Firebase security rules. Payment processing is handled through Razorpay.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and bookkeeping data while your account remains active. If a paid or trial user falls back to the Free plan, we currently retain that data for up to 12 months after the user's last login, after which inactive data may be deleted.

7. Your Rights

You may request correction or deletion of your account data by contacting support. Verified deletion requests are generally processed within 14 business days.
